Fill in the Blank Friday

I just came across this meme by way of finding Our Daze in the Desert, who I found through Nancy, at If Evolution Really Works, one of my favorite blogs to date!

Any way, all of that lead me to The (Un)Experienced Mom and her Fill in the Blank Friday!

So here I am ... filling in the blank!

The holiday movie I can't live without each year is __________.

But the holiday movie I could DEFINITELY do without is _________________.

The movie I can't live without each holiday season is Love Actually. I absolutely adore that movie, and hubby and I make sure to watch it every year. We even listen to the music, which is fantastic! We have several others we could list as a couple, like Christmas Vacation, ELF and even (for some odd reason) Surviving Christmas.
But the holiday movie I could DEFINITELY live without would have to be ... Hmmn, I'd probably have to say Scrooged, it's another one that hubby has to watch, and so I sometimes watch it with him, but I could surely survive without it. Coming in a *reallyclose* second is A Christmas Story, which I know is probably considered sacrilegious to even say, but hey, I'm Jewish, so it's OK, right? ;) Kidding -- I know it's a Christmas Classic, and it's cute and fun and all that, but it's on ALL.THE.TIME. And there are only so many times I can watch that kid get his tongue stuck to the pole, ya know? That is the right movie reference, isn't it? I hope ... (oops.)

Anyway, thanks for letting me participate this week, Tamara, it was fun!

I absolutely love "Love Actually." Watch it all the time (as I have the DVD). It's just a cute movie, plus my hubby is a Brit! ;-)
