Muffin Tin Monday! (And Swap Update!)

My post for this week's Muffin Tin Monday is also my post to link up for the swap results.

We were partnered with Crystal, and we received our goodies late last week, and my lil one was super excited! Here are some pictures of her with all of our new Muffin Tin Monday related treats:

Crystal included a pretty bow she made for my daughter, which she wore for about a hot minute before getting into the "sparkles" aka sprinkles ... and before you knew it, we were baking sugar cookies with the cookie cutters (totally princess-y: a crown and a shoe!) and having a great time. So thanks, Crystal. And I hope you and your family enjoy the goodies I sent you as much as we love these. (And sorry for the delay!)

Muffin Tin Monday!

Well, it's been WAY too long since I've participated in Muffin Tin Mondays, so I'm happy to pull up an MTM I did a few weeks ago, but neglected to post. It's not a creative one, it's not even really an *official* one, but we made carrot muffins together and had so much fun.

AND they were so yummy! They had an interesting spice flavor to them, too. I used a Pillsbury box mix, but they had a "from scratch" feeling as they were freshly-baked, ya know?

So, despite the complete MTM feel, we are participating this week anyway! Hope you are, too, and that you're having fun doing it!

Muffin Tin Monday!

I am horribly lame, and this MTM is just a regular ole meal that she wanted to eat in her tin a week or so ago. I have only just loaded these images onto my machine, so, tah dah! No theme here, but hey, at least I'm tryin' .. right?

So we just ate a normal meal of macaroni and cheese and hot dogs, w. a crescent roll in our new blue tin from Target (read = SUPER CHEAP!) Of course that last spot was filled -- with DIP, otherwise known as ketchup. Fun times.

Muffin Tin Monday!

We're back!

Well, sort of ... it's been a while since we've participated in MTM, and although that makes me sad I am happy to share some pictures of my daughter's own attempts at creating an MTM for me (and for herself, too!)

Check it out:

Muffin Tin Monday!

Today's theme is kebabs ... but for us we wound up with mini-kebabs on fun and fancy picks! A simple cheese and apple snack, which she helped me put together and wanted to eat before she even sat down. Fun stuff!

Muffin Tin Monday!

No theme this week, which worked perfectly, since we weren't prepared for much. We started off with yogurt and sprinkles (from our swap!) and Fruit Loops to add to the yogurt, which was a new concept and she really liked it. Then I tossed in some orange slices.

We had just made some butterfly shaped crescent rolls (next Simply Made Sunday I'll share pics!) so I added them to the meal/snack, and she had to have two to make it "even!"

Muffin Tin Monday!

Well, we're a week behind because we skipped MTM last week. We were both not feeling too hot, so although I did take a picture or two of her eating applesauce in her teddy bear tin, that was the full extent of our approach to the apples theme!

This week's theme is Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. While we don't have that book yet (it's crazy, I have been planning to buy it for her, before I even knew about the movie!) I do figure on noodles and turkey meatballs for tonight's dinner, but I'll post that next week when we don't have a theme, or I'll post it tomorrow and have TWO MTM posts. ;)

Anyway, here's a shot of her with her applesauce, and a splash or two or more of the fun sprinkles we received from our MTM Swap partner!

As you can tell, last week was a "stay in our pajamas* kind of a week, so we were home and watched a lot of Noggin and Disney! (And I SO DO mean A LOT!)

Muffin Tin Monday!

Simple and easy snack for us this week. My little girl wanted to eat "sherul" (cereal) in her heart tin, so we wound up w. a tin full of Cheerios! As you can see, she's digging in on her own and stuffing her lil mouth to her heart's content!

So happy and relaxed, she pulled up her DORA chair and sat herself down in front of the TV to enjoy her snack!

Muffin Tin Monday! On a Tuesday!

So I was majorly slacking last week, and yesterday, and we are actually doing our MTM(T) today for breakfast.

I didn't go all out w. the circus theme, but figured I'd use these new bear tins I got with a nice Q at Michael's. I LOVE how they accept AC Moore Qs, along w. any other competitor. Excellent savings for the weeks when Michael's didn't put a Q in the paper.

Anyway, today (right now, in fact) she's having mini-pancakes in the teddy bear tins. And bears are circus animals, right? ;)

She seriously wanted to eat the bears. I am pretty sure she is playing with them right now, and the pancakes are back on their original plate. I should be filming this, as the bears appear to be communicating with one another.

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed your MTM, and thanks for letting me sneak in under the wire with a Tuesday post! For more on Muffin Tin Monday, check out Her Cup Overfloweth!

Muffin Tin Monday!

We used our new muffin tin for this week's MTM. Very exciting! Michelle's theme for this week was People and Faces, so I took the easy way out and made another snack tin.

I know she's enjoying this more than it seems ...

Pensive Face!

The first two Stars were filled with Cars Teddy Grahams

Another unusual expression ...

The next two stars were Goldfish crackers, and the final two are Smiley Faced fruit chews and her "Monkey Milk," which is a Danimals strawberry yogurt drink. The monkey has a face, so that counts!
(btw: she took this picture by herself!)

Her final odd expression ...
I think she had enough of my picture taking and just wanted to EAT! Honestly, can you just see her teenage expression looking over at me?
M-OhOh-MMM! (insert eye-roll here!)

If you want to join us in MTM next week, check out Her Cup Overfloweth for more info on MTM! The more the merrier!

Muffin Tin Monday! On a Saturday?

No worries, everyone! I haven't lost my mind or anything (not yet, anyway!) Just coming by to let you all know about this wonderful package of goodies we received from Diana over at The Nelms Life for our Muffin Tin Swap! As you can tell, my daughter was SO excited to dig into the package and see what it was ...

I took a picture of her with our new goodies,
and then I had to ask her to open her eyes after the first one was a big, cheesy grin with her eyes closed.

Looks like somebody is goosing her, doesn't it? ;)

She took this next picture herself! We received a wonderful stars muffin tin, swirly picks, fairy muffin liners, cocktail forks and a fun mixture of cool sprinkles!

Thank you SO much, Diana! Hope you enjoy your package ... once it finally gets to you guys! And a huge thanks to Michelle for setting this up for us. You can check out her site HERE to find more swappers revealing their new stash!

Uhm, just adding that I have officially lost my mind, because today is SATURDAY NOT Sunday ... just changed my title, but anyone who follows will know how out of it I truly am, so I figured I'd confess!

Muffin Tin Monday!

So this week's Muffin Tin Monday had no specific theme, so I decided to opt for healthy snacks for a change! And we used our new, colorful liners. Fun stuff!

We had grapes, cherries and Mickey Mouse cheese. I swear, this child saw those bags of cheese a mile away. We were in the store and she was actually staying IN the cart, well-behaved and everything, and I asked her if she wanted some cheese. She basically screamed, "MICKEY MOUSE CHEESE!" So, we bought some. And she loved it! Yummy cheese!

And then for our second go-round we added some dry cereal after she finished up some of the cheese and cherries.
