Random Ramblings.

I haven't been writing all week because - well - my mom has been visiting!!

Yay, Momma!!!

Too exciting.

Unfortunately she's heading home tonight, and I'm #sadfaced.

My kiddo is likely going to be even more sadfaced than I am. Sniffle.

Saying bye to family when they leave is awful. It's not fair.

I'm still waiting on those automatic transporter things for people so we can get together whenever we want, ya know?

You know you know. I'm sure of it.

I kind of need to get in the shower and feel more awake. In the meantime I'm sipping cold coffee and doing some internet engagement stuff.

Where do you find the posts you read and share online?

I tend to find mine from friends. And from blogging groups I am in on Facebook.

Those are fun. But can feel like pressure sometimes. But are mostly fun.

I love the ones where engagement is optional but learning and discussion is the real deal.

I don't like the ones where if you share a link you have to reciprocate to every.single.person on the thread. Because ain't nobody got time for that.

Seriously. #amirite?

Do you remember when I was a Verizon Wireless Ambassador like 900 years ago? That's when I got my very first Samsung Galaxy phone. And I loved it. Samsung should thank Verizon Wireless because last night I upgraded to my third Galaxy, the S6. Ta dah!

I love this phone. I love the Galaxy phones. I recommend them all the time. My S3 actually still lives and works well and I am a big fan. If you don't want the S6 I'd recommend going for the S5 because that's still available.

Granted, I literally got the S6 last night. So I can't speak to it fully - I'm just talking about the Galaxy phones in general. I'm a fan.

And now I finally have a phone with memory. Hallelujah.

So - what's new with you? Anything exciting to report? Looking forward to Mother's Day weekend? I kind of am. But my Momma will be back home. So we're enjoying our time together before she goes and I'm going to head offline again.

In the meantime, if you're feeling it - let me know in the comments what you'd like for Mother's Day this year. I'd love to hear and live vicariously through you.

  1. You know..I don't think there's anything I can think of that I would like for Mother's Day. Oh wait..a vacation. I'd like a vacation. To somewhere exotic. Or tropical. Or..anywhere that isn't Michigan, actually!

  3. Hey- I am woefully behind on my own blogging. But I am commenting all over the place - so there's that!

As for Mother's Day - the hubby has been away since Sunday, so a break from parenthood would be welcome. Barring that - I'd like a day of meals and snacks I don't have to plan.
