Simply Made Sunday!

This week we made donuts! Yes! In our very own home!

What? You've never heard of making your very own donuts? Well, I'll be honest, I hadn't either. Until I read about this recipe on But Mama, I'm Hungry!

So we started off with some refrigerated biscuit dough, vegetable oil and a frying pan. Flattened out the biscuits and pushed a hole through the middle, so we'd have a standard donut shape for them.

Heated up the oil and dropped those babies in there at about 2-3 minutes each side.

Sprinkle some powdered sugar (confectioner's sugar works wonderfully!) And Viola! Donuts!

As you can see, she really enjoyed it!

  2. Yum! When I was growing up my best friend's mom used to make these. They are so yummy! I will have to make them with my own kids.

I was wondering the same thing... where is everyone today?
