Chinese food for breakfast ... again?

It seems that sometimes I just have those mornings. We come downstairs a little bit late. Not much in the house in the way of groceries, but lots of Chinese food leftover from last night's dinner. And so, here I am. Eating two crab rangoons for breakfast. Sadly, last night I opted not to get the teriaki chicken sticks, because that with the rangoons (cheese wontons, so it's kind of like grilled cheese, or, uhm, not ...) is my standard leftovers for breakfast.

Instead I just ate those, and as noon is rapidly approaching I am sure I'll dig into the chicken and broccoli with white rice.

My husband could eat cold pizza for breakfast nearly any day of the week, but I prefer my pizza warmed up when I'm eating it the next day. But I've certainly nuked a leftover half-a-turkey burger and sweet potatoe, or some sort of sandwich from dinner the night before for my AM meal. But Chinese food? Is that weird? Is it just me? What's the craziest thing you've eaten for breakfast? Help me find my partners in crappy eating crime out there, would you?

Oh, and just so you don't look at me funny, my daughter DID have the rest of the Fruit Loops and Very Vanilla SILK soy milk for HER breakfast. Talk about making sacrifices for your children!

  1. I'm not a breakfast eater but I will eat Chinese for lunch the next day. My breakfast of choice, although not one I have often, is a bagel from Ess A Bagel with cream cheese, nova, onion, tomato and capers. Ok now I know what I'm having tomorrow for breakfast. Thanks! Haha.

  2. Hey, I had pancakes and bacon for dinner last night! Sounds fine to me. If the breakfast police arrest you, I'll come bail you out :)

  3. HA! I made pizza for myself for lunch today. Not odd, you say? What if lunch was at 9:15am?? I'd been up since 4:30, so it felt like lunch to me!
thanks for the comment at my place!
