Nicole over at Silent Storm tagged me the other day.
And I said thank you, because it gave me a blog post for this weekend!
So, here are the rules (rules? There are no rules!):
1. Post the rules
2. Share 11 random things about yourself
3. Answer the questions posted to you from your tagger
4. Come up with 11 new questions for the people you tag
5. Tag your peeps on Twitter, facebook (not me!) or on your blog (yep!)
So, here we go!
Eleven things about MOI!
* I don't have a driver's license.
Many of you know this, some new friends might not. So - there it is!
* I've NEVER had a driver's license.
That's right, never.
* I love cheese.
mozzarella, cheddar, swiss, muenster, american. Shredded, melted, on
pasta or sandwiches. Salads. Soups. I can't live without it. Oh, and
feta. OMG, love me some feta.
* I don't eat beef.
Or pork. Or fish. Especially shrimp. And lobster. And my husband is from Maine. Yeah. But it still works.
* I'm pretty sure I am allergic to mushrooms.
deathly, but they've made me ill enough times for me to decide it's
true. And I am allergic to mold, so that would make sense - no?
* I find washing dishes to be somewhat cathartic.
when we have family in town. Or we just seem to have many. And note -
dishes. NOT glasses. Which my husband uses many of. Way too many.
* I'm wordy.
* I can read all day long.
Or I could if someone would let me.
* I could live off of pizza.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It would all work for me.
* Water is my constant beverage.
I drink it with almost every meal, and throughout the day. And yet I never seem to get enough!
* 2012 is going to be MY year.
OK, now the questions Nicole asked me to answer:
Breakfast? Most important meal or skip it?
-- Important. Almost always has been, but I tend to have it late in the AM.
If you had a TARDIS, where would you go?
-- What the hell are you talking about? ;)
OK, fine, I'd go meet my grandfather who passed away before I was born.
-- Anything that isn't a banana.
Flats, heels or barefoot?
-- Mostly barefoot, though I totally should NOT be doing that as often as I tend to.
BooBerry or Count Chocula?
-- What happened to FrankenBerry? Count Chocula is my man.
-- Have you not been listening to me? I don't drive! Does Matchbox count?
Pick a superpower
-- I'm a mom. I have every possible superpower there is already.
What's your last meal?
-- Can you guess? It's pizza. NYC pizza, though, so either fly me there or fly some here.
Cat, dog or other? And why?
-- Both. Cause we have 4 cats and 2 dogs, that's why!
You’re having a crappy day, what’s the thing that always cheers you up?
hmmn. Sadly most of the time I'd say it's a warm beverage, or some
chocolate, but I want to try to move away from food and drink. So it's
my daughter's smile. And when she tells me she loves me. And? A really
good cry. Yeah, that about covers it.
What’s your dream job?
I think I sort of had it, but with too much politics surrounding it. I
want to go back into social work and work with children and their
families. But I also am thinking I want to work in an organization that
supports women. Supports moms. Moms who have experienced PPA/PPD. Who
have fears and anxieties and concerns about motherhood. Women who cannot
have children. Women who aren't sure about being moms. Women in
relationships. I want to be a support system for all women. Can I do
So now I'm supposed to tag a bunch of people and ask them to answer 11 questions of my own. Dang. This is turning into the longest blog post ever. Have I mentioned that I'm wordy?
Tag! You're up!
Richard (because he practically asked me to-and I know it'll be fun if he answers)
Jessica (because I know she'll come up with the coolest title)
Rachel (because I know she'll have awesome answers)
Single Mom (because I love learning new random things about her!)
Susie (because I know she'll create a wonderful list)
OK, I'm done. I know that's not 11 peeps, but I'm going to just toss this out there to anyone else who is interested in answering the questions or whatever you decide. Do it. Don't do it. It's all good. Blogging isn't a pressure-related situation, in my opinion, and I will not cause pressures for any of my peeps.
Here are the awesome questions I have for you all:
- Last movie you watched.
- Last book you read.
- Favorite song of all time.
- Do you like to dance?
- Food you could live off of for the rest of your life?
- Best meal you have EVER eaten. Yes. Ever.
- Favorite article of clothing.
- Daily mantra?
- Wine? Beer? Fruity drinks? None?
- Favorite childhood memory?
- Answer your own question here!
- Dang, I just came up with another one: Favorite movie line EVER.
Whew. I'm spent. Thanks, Nicole. For making me be creative. Damn you. I mean, yeah, thanks. This was fun!
