Today is the day ...

We celebrate the women in our lives. And those who we never had the chance to know or have passed on and left us.

We appreciate the woman who birthed us, woman who raised us, who supports us through everything, every minute, of every day.

We look at our own children and think of what we put our mothers through.

We send Hallmark cards and flowers and fruit baskets and crayon covered cards from grandchildren across the miles.

We remember the greatest moments and forget the worst ones.

Today is Mother's Day. To all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts and relatives, friends and family out there, to you and your mother, and all of the above.

So, get some extra sleep, find some time for just you, be treated like a Queen today, and remember that without that little one you're trying to hide from for just a few minutes you'd have a totally different view of what motherhood is all about.

Happy Mother's Day.
