Halfway There

blogging, writing, NaBloPoMo, connecting, southern life, who I am, exhausted, motherhood, bedtime

I'm totally phoning it in tonight.

I started the day off right, drafting a post early-ish this morning and I was like, YES! I'm going to be done in advance.

And then?

No.

See. I wanted to share some fun graphic tees, and no, that's not a tangent off of the graphic novels I just shared, although it is a little bit ironic (dontcha think?).

But then I realized that so many of the tees I was sharing were going to be gone tomorrow, and there's nothing more annoying than sharing stuff that vanishes, because what's it all about [Alfie] then?

Please tell me you got the Alfie reference. Because if you didn't I'm going to feel - oh - about 90.

Anyway.

It's still NaBloPoMo and I'm still going strong. Or slightly strong.

And I had dinner tonight with a friend and TOTALLY DIDN'T WHOLE30 it.

Because I stopped a few days ago with a stomach bug and a random fever and I've been feeling good. And I will say that I could have eaten an entire tray of food. You guys, it was LITERALLY a tray of food. And I had so much left over.

So.

Much.

And I'm proud of that. Though it may be a random thing to be proud of.

Also - the bartender is my new boyfriend. He just doesn't know it yet.

(I promise I'm not a stalker. He was just so sweet and I like when people are sweet and respectful and easy on the eyes. And that's okay, right? Right.)

Okay. So. Here you have it. Day 15 of NaBloPoMo.

Boom.

And on that note - I bid thee goodnight. Or good morning. Whenever you read this. If you do at all.

Sweet dreams, y'all. Or beautiful coffee-filled days.

Or both. Because we all wake up and we all go to sleep and then we do it all over again the next day. Such is life. And so it goes.

  1. OMG I’m STILL full. Everything was so good! And yes, I thought your soon-to-be boyfriend was adorable. He reminded me of Ryan Reynolds.

  2. I think I have a lot of ex-bartender-boyfriends and there is nothing wrong with that. Dinner with a friend sounds perfect for the soul!
