Charitable Moments

There are so many ways to be charitable in this day and age. As a social worker, these things are often at the top of my list. As a non-driving SAHM, they often fall to the way-side. So that's when I try to look into things I can do from the comfort of my very own home. Which starts off with (of course) websites!

Here are a few that you can simply *click* and make a contribution:

* You can share a little comfort by clicking HERE to donate a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese!

* The Breast Cancer Site

* The Hunger Site

* The Child Health Site

* The Rainforest Site

* The Literacy Site

* The Animal Rescue Site

* Click to fight cancer! Go here to sign the declaration, adding your name to support the battle to LIVESTRONG!

* Goodsearch is an incredible way to make money for various causes. I have mine set to help fund The Mommies Network to help raise money to keeping this amazing organization running for moms around the country, but you can choose whatever charity you wish to support and simply go to this page once you've done so, and run all of your searches from there.

If you'd like to take a few minutes to find a way that you can donate your time, also from the comfort of your own home, check out Volunteer Match and look through their virtual opportunities. There just might be a perfect match for you there.

I am going to certainly continue trying to find more ways to support various causes from my couch, and I'll keep you all posted on these simple ways to donate, without spending a penny!
