And so, I convinced hubby to take me to Harris Teeter tonight, our local grocery store, because they were doing Triple Coupons. They started today, and for a change they're running for a week instead of 3 days. I have missed the last few rounds of Triples, so I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a go tonight. And I am so glad I did!
I totaled around $110 in items purchased, and wound up spending a little over $60 as we walked out the door! Almost all of the things I bought I had a coupon for, including a few for $1/1.50 off, so no tripling, but still, a good savings. It's seriously so thrilling. Is it sad that this excites me so? I am proud that only a few items were not things I had Qs for, and most of those were on crazy sale at HT, including a few BOGOs. Look at me with the lingo and everything. I'm nutty, I know.
However, afterwards we stopped off at the ABC store, which is a whole other post altogether. I'll stick w. my grocery achievements for tonight, and post more another time!
Awesome job!!! You go girl!

It is pretty amazing how much we can save. I used my Citipass book a ton this week, also, and saved that way. It's crazy how coupons can help!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
