Yes, we have your usual places, like BK, McD's and Wendy's. But we also have Arby's, BoJangles, Steak-n-shake and CookOut. And we have CharGrill, Sonic, and Hardee's. But the place of all places, especially for someone like me, who wouldn't know a good hamburger if it came up and bit her in the bottom, is Chick-fil-a.
Chick-fil-a is the place where the chicken sandwich was created. Or so "they" claim. But you know what? I finally -- today -- for the first time -- tried one of their traditional chicken sandwiches, and d@mn, that thing was GOOD.
Now, I've had their nuggets before (nothing like them, I swear it!) and fell in love, but a sandwich, what's the big deal, right?
Well, I'll tell you. It's really a chicken sandwich. Honest-to-goodness chicken. Amazing!
And for me I say forget the fries (not a huge fan,) but get yourself a milkshake and you're good to go. They have these incredible hand-spun milkshakes that are so yummy that you are happy as, well, happy as you'll ever be as you enjoy one!
So, the next time you're in my neck o' the woods, be sure to hit the drive-thru. It's well worth it, I promise! Don't tell them I sent you though, I'm not THAT much of a regular there! ;)
